Who we are

This website is operated by Central Coast Aerial Mapping, Inc. (“CCAM”, “we”, “us”), 710 Fiero Lane, Suite 24, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. Questions about this policy can be sent to mail@ccaminc.com or (805) 543-4307.

What we collect

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to send us through the contact and quote form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the project details you type into the message. If you use the optional “Outline your site” step, we also receive the boundary you draw or the KMZ/KML file you attach. We also receive the page you sent the form from and the time you sent it.

We do not set cookies, run advertising trackers, or use analytics that identify you. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and requested pages) for security and performance purposes.

The map on the quote page

The quote form offers an optional map for outlining the area you need mapped. Its satellite imagery, street labels and address search come from Esri, and the map loads only if you open it. Until you do, this website makes no request to Esri at all. Once it is open, Esri receives your IP address, the map tiles your browser requests, and what you type into the search box, under Esri’s privacy statement. You never have to open it: you can attach a boundary file instead, or simply describe the location in your message. If you turn on county parcel lines, our own server asks the U.S. Census Bureau’s public geocoder which county the map is centered on, and fetches the property lines for the area on screen from that county’s public GIS service. They receive only the map location requested, and nothing about you.

How we use it

We use the information you send us to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and carry out any work you engage us for. We keep it as ordinary business correspondence for as long as we have a business reason to, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who processes it on our behalf

• Cloudflare hosts this website and processes the form submission.
• Resend delivers the submission to us as an email.
• Google Workspace stores that email in our company mailbox.

Each of these providers processes the information only to provide their service to us.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information you have sent us by emailing mail@ccaminc.com. Because we do not track visitors, this website does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals; there is nothing to turn off.

This site may link to other websites (for example, map or document links). Their privacy practices are their own.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and public agencies and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and the effective date above.
